Inscribed stone (1st century BC)

Japodes tribes "Ortoplini" and "Parentini" quarreled around the water source "Begovača" where they fed they catlle. The Romans, who ruled the area at the time, decided to settle the dispute with the law written on the stone. Rough translation of the inscribed stone is "Upon agreement, the border between Ortoplins and Parentins, acess to water Ortoplins 500 steps, 1 step width."
